01/03/2026 Description: This position is fully remote and offers an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and intellectually curious Data Analyst. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing and delivering data models, pipelines, and reports that facilitate month-end close processes, enhance accounting workflows, and drive ongoing improvements in data quality, reliability, and efficiency. $60 - $70 / hr. W2 Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, and Engineering teams to define project specifications, translating business requirements into effective technical solutions that uphold accuracy and compliance.
Streamline and automate processes utilizing tools like Alteryx, Snowflake, and dbt to enhance the month-end close, minimize manual tasks, and boost operational efficiency.
Enhance Data Integrity by establishing validation and monitoring frameworks to maintain accuracy and consistency across financial datasets.
Experience Requirements: 7+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or analytics engineering roles.
Proficient in SQL with a solid understanding of cloud data systems, hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and BI tools such as Mode, Tableau, or Power BI.
Experience in building and supporting complex data pipelines, focusing on accuracy, compliance, and traceability.
Familiarity with financial data structures, accounting processes, and enterprise systems like Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, or Adaptive.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in automating or optimizing workflows with Alteryx.
Background working in public companies, especially in SOX-compliant environments.
Experience in high-growth technology or marketplace businesses.
Strong project management skills with a track record of defining milestones and meeting timelines.
