Your Role and Responsibilities We are looking for a skilled Software Engineering Team Leader to guide a dynamic group of over 15 software engineers. This pivotal role will focus on delivering high-quality software solutions for our SaaS platform and distributed systems. You'll collaborate closely with teams in Product Management, Program Management, and Customer Support to ensure we meet our product roadmap goals. Key Responsibilities Leadership & People Management Mentor and manage a team of 15+ software engineers. Drive career development and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability. Run the Entry-Level Hiring Program to nurture emerging engineering talent. Technical Leadership Oversee the design and development of APIs and distributed systems. Ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering and code quality. Guide architectural decisions for scalable SaaS solutions. Product Delivery Collaborate with Product Management to realize our product plans. Ensure timely and quality releases that align with business objectives. Work cross-functionally with Program Management and Customer Support. Operational Excellence Promote continuous improvement in development processes and tools. Monitor and enhance system performance and reliability. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Qualifications Experience: 5+ years as a Technical Lead or Engineering Manager. Proven experience managing large engineering teams (15+ engineers). Technical Expertise: Strong background in SaaS operations, distributed systems, and API development. Hands-on experience with modern software development practices and cloud technologies. Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.). Understanding of DNS and Global Traffic Steering for performance and availability. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams. Excellent communication and collaborative skills across various functions. Delivery Focus: Proven history of delivering complex product roadmaps on time and within scope. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Preferred Skills Experience with microservices architecture. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
