The role combines hands-on technical work with emerging leadership responsibilities, perfect for someone who's proven themselves technically and is ready to take the next step into team management and strategic delivery. You'll be at the heart of an ambitious programme using AI and automated workflows to transform how services are delivered, generating measurable cost savings and productivity gains. What you'll be doing: * Coordinate a technical team focused on data and automation * Design and deliver automation and data engineering solutions * Build data pipelines, ETL processes and develop RPA workflows * Drive efficiency programmes, tracking and demonstrating impact * Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for smarter working * Translate technical concepts into clear recommendations for decision-makers Essential Skills: * Experience in automation tooling (RPA, Power Automate, APIs) and/or data engineering (ETL, SQL, Python, data pipelines) * Experience with data platforms (Azure, AWS, Power BI, Tableau or similar) * Ability to deliver technical solutions that generate measurable results * Strong communication skills with non-technical audiences Desirable: * Experience with AI/ML tools or cloud platforms * Team leadership, coaching or mentoring experience Why this role?
