Duties

• Lead the preparation and presentation of baked goods, pastries, and specialty desserts with exceptional cake decorating skills.
• Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards across all kitchen activities.
• Manage packaging processes for baked products and other food items to maintain freshness and quality during distribution.
• Supervise food production tasks, including cooking, baking, and food preparation, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, knife skills, and proper food handling practices.
• Collaborate with the catering team to deliver outstanding service for events and special occasions.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols within the kitchen environment at all times.

Skills

• Extensive experience in cake decorating, baking, and pastry arts with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong background in food industry standards including food safety, handling, and sanitation.
• Proven ability to manage food production processes efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent culinary skills across cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and food presentation.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to work seamlessly with clients or event organizers.
• Proficiency in packaging methods suitable for retail or catering purposes.
• Solid understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance; familiarity with catering or restaurant environments is a plus.
