About the Role

We're looking for a dynamic business development leader to drive growth for Alda Strategic. You'll be building meaningful relationships with developers and real estate visionaries across the country.

We're looking for someone who can identify transformative opportunities, bring fresh ideas to the table about where place identity and experience design can make an impact, and develop creative strategies for outreach and engagement. You'll cultivate new client relationships while nurturing existing ones into long-term partnerships, always with an eye toward helping clients create places that are memorable, marketable, and meaningful.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with real estate developers, property owners, mixed- use projects, resorts and master-planned communities nationwide
  • Proactively identify potential locations and projects that would benefit from place identity, placemaking, and experience design services, bringing new ideas to the table.
  • Research upcoming opportunities, industry landscapes, trends, etc.
  • Develop innovative outreach strategies and creative approaches to business development incollaboration with the team
  • Travel approximately 3 times per month to meet prospective and existing clients—site visits, dinners,conferences, and presentations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, articulating the value of insight-driven place strategy and publicrealm design in elevating their projects
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through proposal development and contract close
  • Maintain and grow long-term client relationships, ensuring smooth and continued business andreferrals
  • Collaborate closely with our strategy and creative team to scope projects and ensure seamlesshandoffs
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
  • Contribute ideas for evolving the company's reach and market presence (marketing knowledge is a plus)

  • Impeccably organized and detail-oriented, you follow up, follow through, and keep your pipelinemeticulously tracked
  • An exceptional communicator both verbally and in writing, you're compelling in person and polishedin every email, proposal, and presentation

  • Energized by travel and client entertainment, you love getting on a plane, exploring new cities, andbuilding relationships over dinner
