Hours and Location This position will be located downtown Grand Rapids, MI. We are looking for a candidate who can work full-time (40 hours per week) May-August with the potential to work part-time (15-20 hours per week) through the fall 2026 semester.
What You'll Do
Work closely with the Philanthropy team to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations. Collaborate with team members to support ongoing research and projects. Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns. Support the Financial Data and Records Lead in a project to update historical coding of grant requests in GMS. Assist in creating and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide insights. Build and customize reports in Salesforce to track key metrics and support decision-making processes.
What You'll Bring
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field (i.e., social sciences, Nonprofit Management, Database Management, Computer Science). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information. Familiarity with data entry procedures or database management. Proficiency in using digital tools and databases. Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a professional manner, with the highest level of confidentiality.
