Position Overview

Lioncrest Academy seeks a mission-aligned Christian Elementary School Principal to lead and grow a K–5 program grounded in biblical truth, inquiry-based learning, and academic excellence. The Principal is the chief steward of Lioncrest's mission and culture and is expected to model, teach, and enforce the Academy's Five Core Values in all aspects of leadership, instruction, and community life.

This role requires a spiritually mature, instructionally strong leader who can hire and develop teachers, design and refine an inquiry-based learning program, and build a thriving Christ-centered school culture.

Lioncrest Academy is in the finalizing location and will be based in either Plano, Frisco or Celina. We will be offering a hybrid model of learning where two days a week will be off campus.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic & Instructional Leadership

  • Design, implement, and refine an inquiry-based, mastery-focused elementary program
  • Ensure alignment between curriculum, assessment, and Lioncrest's Christian worldview
  • Conduct regular classroom observations and provide instructional coaching
  • Monitor student academic progress and support intervention strategies

Faculty Hiring, Development & Management

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard mission-aligned Christian educators
  • Establish clear instructional expectations and professional accountability
  • Lead performance evaluations and targeted professional development
  • Build a cohesive, high-trust faculty culture rooted in Lioncrest's core values

School Operations & Leadership

  • Oversee daily school operations, schedules, staffing, and classroom structure
  • Partner with leadership on enrollment growth and program expansion
  • Maintain safe, orderly, and well-run learning environments
  • Support accreditation, compliance, and reporting requirements as applicable

Parent & Community Engagement

  • Serve as a visible, approachable leader for families
  • Communicate clearly regarding academics, culture, and student development
  • Address parent concerns with professionalism, empathy, and firmness
  • Strengthen Lioncrest's reputation and community presence

Required Qualifications

  • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and preaching church
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in elementary education with leadership responsibility
  • Demonstrated success in teacher hiring, coaching, and development
  • Experience implementing inquiry-based, project-based, or mastery-driven learning models
  • Clear alignment with Lioncrest Academy's Christian faith, Excellence in Academic and core values listed above.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as Principal, Assistant Principal, or Academic Director
  • Experience launching or scaling a school or academic program
  • Background in private, faith-based, or entrepreneurial education environments

Pay: $60, $80,000.00 per year
