Overview
We are seeking a friendly and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience working in fast-paced environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves crafting drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere to ensure an exceptional experience for all patrons. Previous experience with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with excellent time management and sales skills. A background in food safety, food handling, and hospitality will support success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Restock supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or bar settings
- Assist with setting up for events such as banquets or catering functions when required
- Follow all food safety regulations related to food handling and beverage service
- Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques if applicable, enhancing guest experience with specialty drinks
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in fine dining, nightclubs, banquet settings, or the food industry is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred
- Strong skills in serving, cash handling, retail math, and basic math are essential for accurate transactions
- Experience in hospitality or food service environments that require excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards
- Experience working in the beverage industry including brewing or catering is a plus
