About

Start your journey as a Quality Engineer at Cinch Connectivity Solutions. You'll handle the development, application, maintenance, and assessment of all quality functions which include maintaining quality standards/requirements, planning, reporting, procedure development, corrective action, and collaborating with Supply Chain on supplier quality improvement. Our Engineering team is proud of their contributions, supporting a broad range of internal customers and requests while ensuring the uninterrupted development and manufacturing of high-tech products for key industries like aerospace and defense.

Are You Looking to

  • Ensure that corrective and preventive action processes are identifying the root cause of issues, implementing corrective/preventive actions and validating plans to ensure quality systems are effective and problem resolution is permanently implemented.
  • Implement measures that improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality and/or efficiency.
  • Maintain data collection, entry, or reporting to assure product conformance, process capability, or equipment calibration.
  • Develop and implement standards and methods for inspecting, testing, calibrating, and evaluation of materials, products, returns, equipment and processes.
  • Develop, optimize and improve Quality processes in support of AS9100, ISO 9001, and MIL-STD-790 Quality Management Standards.
  • Assist in the execution of a periodic Gap Analysis between established goals and objectives in terms of Quality system performance and organizational capability to close critical organization and quality system gaps.

Are You Ready to

  • Work as a team to utilize quality improvement methods of assessment, planning, implementation, and validation.
  • Support for mechanical/electrical testing for new and existing products, raw material, warranty returns and calibration.
  • Develop policies and procedures essential to the administration of the Quality Management System.
  • Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to support process capability and to assist in corrective action activities.
  • Devise sampling procedures and implement systems for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent education and experience.
  • Two years of Quality function and/or Engineering experience or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems, Quality function management, Electronic Resource Planning, Product Realization systems, problem solving methodologies, continuous improvement philosophies, and Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing practices.
  • Demonstrated superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interface and work well with all levels of management across multiple functional lines.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
