Kelly Services' has partnered with a client in Cambridge, ON to recruit for the role of Transportation Coordinator

Position# 1 Transportation Coordinator/CSR – Afterhours role

6 month opportunity for extension

$22/hour

Shift: 4x10 Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon 830am-630pm, work from home Sat and Sun

Position #2 – Transportation Coordinator/CSR

6 month opportunity for extension

$22/hour

Shift: Tuesday to Saturday shift – 8:30 AM – 5:00PM, 5 days in office (has potential to move to work from home 1 day a week based on employee's performance)

Responsibilities:

  • Input and retrieve load data in appropriate systems.
  • Review load information and identify ability to complete by reviewing fleet and carrier availability.
  • Communicate with appropriate parties, ensuring accurate information is shared according to established protocols and systems.
  • Ensure issues are resolved timely, changes are updated and communicated and provide ongoing insights and analysis.
  • Calculate trip mileage, track fuel use, repairs and other trip related expenses.
  • Provide specific directions for loading and delivery facilities.
  • Track and trace cross border shipments, and ensure compliance with the designated destinations, communicating to relevant parties.
  • Maintain high involvement ensuring prompt receipt and delivery to and from customers.
  • Ensure all systems, both internal and external, are updated as per established timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience coordinating cross-border (Canada–US) shipments, including long-haul US freight.
  • Experience with working TMS systems – any type and Intermediate level with Excel
