About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Facility Design Services, this highly visible role will focus on improving patient care, reducing costs, and mitigating IT risks while ensuring alignment with eHealth's strategic direction. You'll thrive in a complex environment where innovation, collaboration, and resilience are key.

What You'll Do

  • Design and recommend solutions that meet client and user technology needs for major projects, while promoting provincial standards.
  • Integrate provincial design and standards across data center network components.
  • Integrate provincial design and standards across office and facility-based network and wireless systems.
  • Integrate provincial design and standards across provincial network connectivity between facilities.
  • Integrate provincial design and standards across network security aligned with eHS policies.
  • Integrate provincial design and standards across unified communication and video conferencing.
  • Integrate provincial design and standards across end-user devices.
  • Lead projects from a technical perspective, providing solution analysis, planning, and design.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess network requirements in relation to physical environments.
  • Design, test, and inspect data communication systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and ensure system compatibility and interoperability.
  • Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for facility builds and renovations.
  • Provide architectural expertise and partner with Solution Architects, Software Developers, and IT Operations teams.
  • Prepare IT solution proposals based on business and facility needs.
  • Perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support management decisions.
  • Coordinate end-user reviews and technical performance assessments to validate requirements.
  • Deliver orientation and training to end users for new or modified systems.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in complex, integrated technical environments.
  • Industry certifications in information technology; TOGAF or Enterprise Architecture certification is an asset.
  • Experience with major projects and knowledge of construction methods, documentation, and drawings (considered an asset).
  • Strong IT knowledge and proven ability to manage change in complex stakeholder environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
  • A reputation for integrity, service excellence, and customer focus.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic communication skills.
  • Leadership qualities that foster diversity, collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Ability to assess future goals and risks, developing comprehensive plans that span across time.

Anticipated Start Date: February 2026
Location: Open to Saskatchewan. For roles requiring Regina office space, temporary remote work may be required during our office move. On site work will resume once the new Regina office is ready.
