Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

The Club at Olde Cypress is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our incredible team. This role is essential to maintaining the pristine condition of our facilities and ensuring a safe, and welcoming environment for our members, guests, and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a proactive and positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence in both general maintenance and repairs at the club.

Key Responsibilities Maintenance Duties:

· Perform routine inspections and maintenance throughout club facilities as necessary, including painting, caulking, and other general basic repairs.

· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair needs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.). Work with vendors as necessary to achieve repair.

· Assist with setup and breakdown for club events and activities.

· Maintain outdoor areas including walkways, lighting, and signage.

· Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and tools; report needs to supervisor.

· Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Preferred 2 years of experience in maintenance and/or housekeeping, preferably in a hospitality or club setting.

· Basic technical skills, and willingness to perform essential general repairs.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

· Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

· Indoor and outdoor work across various club facilities.

· Varying schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
