Join our logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida, as an Order Picker! We are seeking efficient and detail-oriented individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders. In this role, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications. Your speed and accuracy are critical to ensuring timely and correct shipments. This position requires a good understanding of warehouse layouts and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will use scanning devices and follow established procedures for picking and staging orders. Safety is paramount; you will be trained on proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus. We offer competitive pay and a supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on electronic pick lists or paper orders.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for packing and shipment.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to team efficiency and achieve picking performance targets.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to a supervisor promptly.
This position requires extensive walking, standing, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly. We are committed to maintaining a safe and efficient logistics operation.
