Job Summary:
Join our Dallas, Texas team as an Inventory Clerk! This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and organization of our warehouse inventory, supporting our extensive logistics operations. You will be responsible for tasks such as conducting cycle counts, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and investigating discrepancies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure inventory accuracy and efficiency. A good understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Assist with stocktaking and physical inventory counts.
  • Organize inventory within the warehouse to ensure efficient retrieval.
  • Report inventory levels and any issues to management.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including the use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
  • Support receiving and shipping departments with inventory-related tasks.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics and warehouse operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control principles.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, including PPE usage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
