What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Senior Nuclear Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our Reactor Plant. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing design documentation and assessing plant design changes.
  • Evaluating plant build maturity for entry into subsequent build phases.
  • Maintaining the Reactor Plant design intent during build and commissioning.
  • Writing and presenting reports on Reactor Plant problem resolution.
  • Facilitating program delivery and technical problem-solving through innovative engineering solutions.
  • Acting as the Intelligent Customer for Reactor Plant documentation and its safety case.
Your Skills and Experiences:

Essential:

  • Degree in Engineering/Physical Science (Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Materials, Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of the nuclear industry and Nuclear Regulations.
  • Previous exposure to the Engineering Lifecycle.
  • Ability to take ownership of work streams.
  • Proven technical report writing skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience justifying design changes, ideally in a Nuclear plant.
  • Civil Engineering & Defence/Naval experience.
  • Strong presentation skills.
