About
Lead Fullstack Engineer
with a strong emphasis on frontend development in the onchain engineering space to propel Base's success. You will engage with all components of our system to enable the next generation of onchain products. What You'll Do: Develop and maintain high-quality frontend web applications.
Contribute to the open-sourcing of our web applications and libraries, managing community contributions and feedback.
Support teams within Coinbase as they create onchain products by applying industry best practices and modern dapp development techniques.
Build essential components of the OP Stack to advance the decentralization of Base and other Layer 2 networks.
What We Look For: A minimum of 5 years in software engineering, including at least 4 years in developing web applications and delivering user-facing features using JavaScript and frameworks like React and NextJS.
Experience developing and launching user-facing features that include onchain components.
Knowledge of current frontend architecture trends and best practices in dapp development, particularly regarding security, performance, and usability.
Familiarity with product and design lifecycles, along with effective collaboration with designers, engineers, and product managers.
Ability to write high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Golang, Geth, Foundry, and Solidity.
Contributed to open source crypto projects, such as OP Stack or Base.
Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
Developed responsive web or mobile applications.
Knowledge of crypto technologies, including interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and working with dApps or blockchain services.

The target annual salary for this position may range from $186,065 to $218,900 USD, based on your work location. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility, equity options, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
