Software Engineering Manager
who will be responsible for leading a team of software and quality assurance engineers. The ideal candidate is a creative manager with strong background with agile methodologies and developing innovative strategies to enhance the engineering team's effectiveness.
This position reports to the Vice President of Engineering and will be a hybrid position located in
Portland, Oregon.

As the Software Engineering Manager, your contributions to the team will include:
Lead and manage a team of Software Engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Provide technical leadership and mentorship; guide architecture, design, and code quality decisions. Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices, tools, and processes. Oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies. Track project progress, risks, and dependencies, and report status to the VP of Engineering. Support production deployments and post-release issue resolution. Drive the adoption and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to increase test coverage, efficiency, and reliability. What we ask of you:
Required: Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field. Required: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a management or technical leadership role. Strong coding and system design skills with the ability to contribute to complex technical work. Hands-on experience with modern software development tools, frameworks, and cloud-based architectures.
