POSITION OVERVIEW

Silver Therapeutics is seeking a proactive and skilled Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the General Manager (GM) in overseeing the daily operations of our dispensary. The AGM plays a critical role in enhancing the operational efficiency and service excellence of the store. This position requires a hands-on approach to staff management, inventory control, and customer service. The AGM will complement the strengths of the GM, particularly in areas that require enhanced focus and expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the GM in all facets of dispensary operations with a strong focus on optimizing day-to-day functions.
  • Manage weekend shifts and act as the primary leader when the GM is unavailable, ensuring continuity of service and operations.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, including setting up the store for daily operations and securing it at the end of the business day.

Inventory and Financial Management:

  • Coordinate inventory tasks, including ordering and receiving cannabis and non-cannabis products, conducting inventory audits, and ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) product rotation to manage expiration dates efficiently.
  • Manage cash deposits, change orders, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Work closely with the GM and accounting to verify invoice accuracy and compliance with budgetary guidelines.

Staff Management and Development:

  • Assist in scheduling, aiming to optimize labor costs and workforce efficiency.
  • Play a key role in staff appreciation initiatives, including organizing snacks, parties, and birthday celebrations to foster a positive and engaging work environment.
  • Handle staffing requirements such as coordinating shifts, managing day-to-day staff movements, and addressing personnel issues promptly.

Customer and Community Engagement:

  • Address customer concerns and returns, ensuring all interactions align with Silver Therapeutics' standards for customer service excellence.
  • Engage in local community outreach and maintain a welcoming store atmosphere that reflects the company's values and community commitment.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Maintain a strong understanding of compliance protocols with state cannabis regulations, using platforms like Metrc and Dutchie backend effectively.
  • Ensure the dispensary remains prepared for emergency situations and inspections, maintaining direct contact lines for critical support.

Administrative Duties:

  • Responsible for the detailed documentation required in operations, such as waste logs and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Review and approve timecards, manage payroll-related queries, and support the GM in administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in retail or dispensary settings.
  • Strong operational and management skills with the ability to work closely with the GM to achieve business goals.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of cannabis retail and compliance systems such as Metrc and Dutchie.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma required; degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods, perform tasks that may require repeated bending and lifting, and the capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $55, $70,000.00 per year
