Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home care for Saturday and Sunday The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy.

Duties

  • Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition; report changes to healthcare professionals
  • Administer medications following prescribed care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Support residents with mobility needs using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or assisting with transfers
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment through regular cleaning and sanitation practices
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
  • Follow individualized care plans developed by healthcare teams or social workers
  • Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents accurately and thoroughly
  • Assist with specialized care such as Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, hospice, or autism support as needed
  • Adhere to safety protocols including CPR certification and first aid procedures to ensure resident safety at all times

Experience

  • Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments preferred
  • Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and medication administration required
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental disabilities, or special needs such as autism or dementia is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards necessary for protecting resident information
  • Hands-on experience with assisted mobility devices like Hoyer lifts or resident
