The Data Analyst at Tort Experts will play a key role in investigating data inconsistencies, identifying issues, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making across teams. This role requires a strong foundation in SQL, data exploration, and data visualization, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Data Analyst will help ensure data accuracy, streamline reporting processes, and empower team members with data-driven solutions. Location: Remote (must be available 9am - 5pm Eastern Time) What Youll Do Data Investigation: Identify, analyze, and resolve data inconsistencies or anomalies within our systems. Issue Resolution: Collaborate with team members to pinpoint root causes of data-related issues and recommend solutions. Data Exploration: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Data Visualization: Create clear and impactful dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively. Collaboration: Work closely with technology, operations, and other departments to support data needs and ensure alignment on objectives. Process Optimization: Develop and improve data workflows, ensuring efficiency and scalability in reporting and analysis. Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate documentation of data processes, methodologies, and findings. Qualifications Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner. Experience with data exploration and working with large datasets. Familiarity with data management best practices and workflows. Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Qualifications Experience in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. Knowledge of Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis is a plus. Prior experience in a similar role within a technology-driven organization.
