divh2DevOps Systems Administrator/h2pExcelity is seeking a DevOps Systems Administrator for a project responsible for building the next generation Collection Management System for an exciting Government customer with a very critical mission. The candidate will work with the engineering team and customer to ensure successful development of high profile, complex, technical deliverables that are core to the continued success of our award-winning projects. The ideal candidate will be at the forefront of requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, and more, ensuring reliability, resiliency, and the continuous improvement of our systems through best practices in architecture design, data science, cloud services, DevSecOps, and platform integration./ppRequired Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly/ppResponsibilities:/pulliEnsure the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems in collaboration with network engineers./liliMonitor and manage system resources to maintain efficiency./liliPerform security administration tasks, including creating user profiles and managing accounts./liliOffer Tier 3 support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution./liliManage operating system configurations, system documentation, performance tuning, software installations, system hardening, and storage allocation./liliEvaluate vendor products and recommend hardware and software purchases, coordinating installation and ensuring effective backup and recovery strategies./liliDevelop and enforce policies and standards for computing resource allocation./li/ulpRequired Skills:/pulliRequires Bachelors degree in an area applicable to the position with 10+ years of relevant experience. Additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of degree./liliMust have a minimum TS clearance and willing to upgrade to a TS/SCI and sit for and pass a polygraph - Contract requires TS/SCI with polygraph to start./liliA minimum 5 year of experience with systems administration, including Linux or CentOS./liliAbility to work in a team environment./liliAbility to anticipate problems and take decisive action./liliExperience maintaining applications built on a PostgreSQL or Oracle database./liliExperience writing scripts to monitor system services, resources, data mine logs, etc./liliExperience writing SQL and PL/SQL to generate system data reports, modify data as necessary, etc./liliExperience with Keytool and OpenSSL./liliExperience maintaining systems in cloud environments./liliExperience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Group./liliExperience with ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) and STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) compliance remediation or experience with equivalent security requirements and tools./liliFamiliarity w/troubleshooting Java and Oracle applications./liliDoD 8570 Compliant holding current IAT level II baseline certification (Security+ CE, GICSP, SSCP, etc.)/li/ulpDesired Skills:/pulliCurrent polygraph Linux+ certification/liliCurrent RHCSA/RHCE certification/liliVMware Certified Professional/liliKnowledge of SQL Servers/liliFamiliarity with RMF (Risk Management Framework)/liliAWS Certified Cloud Practitioner/li/ulpBenefits:/pulliCompetitive salary/liliFlexible work schedule/lili100% Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance plans with Flexible Spending Account (FSA)/liliLong and Short-term disability coverage/liliGenerous paid vacation and holiday time/liliSafe Harbor 401(k) Retirement Plan with 6% Employer matching contributions/liliReimbursement for professional and training development/liliCompany-paid memberships to professional organizations/li/ul/div
