divh2Network Engineer/h2pD2 has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for a Network Engineer supporting an Intelligence Community customers wide-area (WAN), local-area (LAN) and campus-area (CAN) networks across multiple security domains. Focus will be on network engineering, new project requirements, and operation and sustainment of existing infrastructure. This position does require at least 25% travel./ppResponsibilities include:/pulliCoordination of system maintenance, monitoring and installation of multiple WAN/LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms and technologies./liliAssist with research and implementation of enterprise system-wide network solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives./liliTroubleshoot and resolve network media and components./liliEvaluate and monitor health and performance of the network including hardware and management software./liliDevelop and maintain a road map for capabilities, operations, and technologies./liliAssist with development and execution of test plans and supporting documentation of all network configuration upgrades, additions or revisions for customer approval before implementation./liliSupport network traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization efforts to ensure attainment of performance and availability objectives./liliEvaluate and report on new/emerging network/communication technologies to enhance capacity, performance and reliability of the network./liliEvaluate and recommend changes and/or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization and industry best practices/liliFollows all Customer network security processes and procedures, ensures compliance with all Government policies./liliRepresent customer requirements in technical exchanges with other government agencies./liliPerform site surveys to new installations and technology refresh./liliInstalls, maintains and troubleshoots satellite communications equipment./liliDevelop and maintain network architecture diagrams./li/ulpQualifications include:/pulliSecurity Clearance: active TS/SCI/lili8+ years related technical experience in Network and Transport technologies, tools, and techniques/lili4+ years experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a high paced diverse environment/liliUnderstanding and experience with the DoD Architecture Framework and other key DoD network architecture and strategic planning instructions/liliExperience with Juniper, switches, routers, and firewalls. (MX, EX, SRX devices) Cryptographic devices (KG-175G/X, KG-245A/X)/liliExperience with Network analysis tools (HP/Microfocus Network Automation and Network Node Manager, Juniper Secure Analytics, Infoblox, Riverbed.)/liliExperience with Juniper firewall/VPN equipment (SRX series)/liliExperience with supporting IP services to connect to NIPRNET, SIPRNET and JWICS (IPv4, VPN, IPv6, Multicast, QOS, SDN, SNMP, VOIP, VTC, etc)/liliExperience with OSPF, BGP, MPLS, RSVP/LDP L2/3VPNs, VRFs, IKE/IPSec, GRE tunnels, MTU, FTP, Import/Export policies./liliCertifications: IAT II/li/ulpNice to have:/pulliMasters degree in Computer Science or related field/liliJNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, CISCO CCNP, CCVP, CCNA or CCDP (or equivalent)/liliITIL v3 Foundations/liliISC2 CISSP/liliCompTIA Security+/li/ulpAdditional Information:/pulliAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines./liliCompensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position.
