A Brief Overview
N2IA is seeking a Solutions Architect - Cloud to leverage their expertise to support a DoD client's cloud transformation efforts (large scale migrations, financial operations, and modernization efforts). As a Cloud Solutions Architect you will work with the Sr. Solutions Architect to review existing applications and architecture, develop diagrams and documentation of existing infrastructure. You will work alongside your team and key stakeholders to understand and optimize cloud usage as well as quantify business value.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Review, understand, document, and when required present the current as-is architecture and the proposed to-be architecture and interfaces
Use standard diagramming tools such as Visio and draw.io to update the current as-is architecture and the proposed to-be logical and physical architecture
Create relevant DoDAF documentation (SV, OV, CV), for existing architectures to include network diagramming, update appropriately to reflect ongoing changes, and develop "To-Be" documentation based on proposed solutions
Research and understand system communications and connections (such as APIs and interfaces), document information flows and develop optimizations
Work with Sr. Systems Engineers and Architects to document requirements, and update artifacts
Research current and emerging technologies and process methodologies and propose solutions as applicable to the environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
Clearance: SECRET Clearance Required
2+ years of experience working as a solution architect or systems engineer with support, design and documentation experience
4+ years of engineering, support, and system design experience
Proven ability to independently lead development and support of technical data packages such as System Description Document, Interface Control Document (ICD), CONOPS, related appendices and detail artifacts such as an API (Application
Programming Interface), DoDAF documents, and systems and enterprise architecture packages.
Exposure to DevSecOps tools, such as Ansible, Jenkins, Jira, Git and automation tools (e.g. GitHub)
Certifications:
o Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (active) or Above OR
o AWS SysOps Administrator - Associate
o AWS Developer - Associate
