This is a fully on-site role based in Winston-Salem, NC. Candidates must currently reside in North Carolina or be willing to relocate prior to start.
Key Responsibilities : Provide advanced technical support for escalated network issues. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems involving routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Collaborate with senior engineers to diagnose and fix network performance issues. Monitor network performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability. Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference. Assist in the implementation and configuration of network hardware and software. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical network issues. Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and best practices. Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Familiarity with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Preferred Skills :
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Knowledge of both wired and wireless networking Knowledge of network security principles and practices. Certifications such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent are a plus. Experience with Networking Vendors :
Exposure to or hands on experience with one or more of the following vendor technologies is highly beneficial.
