The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as a Solutions Architect (SA) with the Customer Experience (CX) Division.
The Solutions Architect (SA) at VITA provides technical expertise and architectural guidance to their assigned agencies within the Customer Experience (CX) organization.
The SA is responsible for translating agency business objectives and modernization intent into feasible, architecturally aligned technical solutions, products, and services.
The SA partners with Customer Account Managers (CAM) to provide input to the agency six-year journey roadmap (6YR), the Commonwealth's primary six-year modernization roadmap, and the corresponding Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
The SA collaborates cross-functionally (Infrastructure, Enterprise Intelligent Solutions, Cybersecurity, Supply Chain) with VITA to ensure that all designed solutions align with enterprise architecture, security standards, sourcing strategies, and statewide technology direction.
The SA identifies the architectural direction and provides the technical pathway(s). As needed, the SA escalates barriers with their CAM and CX organization.
