As a Full Stack Software Engineering Manager, you'll play a vital role in transforming our digital landscape and driving impactful solutions. What You'll Do: Lead a portfolio of varied technology projects and manage a talented team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to deliver solutions that meet our regulatory requirements. Stay ahead of technology trends, continuously learn and experiment with new technologies, and actively engage in mentoring within the engineering community. Partner with digital product managers to create robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of individuals to achieve financial success. Utilize a range of programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. A minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply). At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud). At least 2 years of experience in people management. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree. 7+ years of experience in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go. 3+ years of experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure. 4+ years of experience using open source frameworks. 5+ years of experience managing teams. 2+ years of experience applying Agile methodologies. 3+ years of experience with Test Automation. 3+ years of expertise in testing and implementing API service architecture using Spring Boot, Java, Junit, Cucumber, Gherkin, Gatling, Xray, or Pact Testing. Please note that specific compensation information is provided based on geographical location, with salaries ranging from $193,400 - $220,700 for positions in McLean, VA, and $175,800 - $200,700 in Riverwoods, IL. This role is also eligible for performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
