Lead multiple mobile platform engineering teams that create the foundation of our iOS and Android applications, wearables, and connected vehicle experiences. Oversee engineering managers supporting teams that deliver comprehensive software products from concept to production, impacting millions of drivers globally. Mentor and develop engineering managers and their teams through performance feedback, career coaching, and growth opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product development and design to ensure customer-focused, top-notch features. Participate in recruiting top talent for your teams and the Mobile App Engineering group. Provide insights on product designs and architectures, bringing a strong engineering perspective. Enhance the engineering delivery pipeline by streamlining processes to reduce cycle time while boosting quality and security. Apply advanced concepts to develop innovative solutions for complex business challenges. Drive continuous organizational improvement through the development of new engineering principles and practices. Share expertise and insights across various teams to eliminate knowledge silos and foster collaboration. Champion a culture of learning and growth within the organization. Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies that align with our objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience. Over 10 years of hands-on software engineering experience in mobile applications. At least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams and delivering successful software products. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software operations, including CI/CD, DevOps, and system maintenance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capability to influence stakeholders and present to executive leadership. Even better if you have: A Master's degree in a relevant field. Experience developing tools or libraries for engineering teams. A background in building enterprise-scale mobile applications for extensive user bases. Experience managing complex technical dependencies across large-scale programs. Strong expertise in creating architectures for secure, performant, and service-oriented systems. Compensation for this position will be based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Please note, visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
