Role
The University of London is accepting applications for Online Tutors with a specialist background in
Interaction Design
to support the online BSc Computer Science programme, with academic direction from Goldsmiths.
Responsibilities
Provide proactive support to students via the Coursera platform. Mark summative assessments and provide detailed feedback. Work with a Module Leader and Programme Director, and collaborate with the University of London’s Programme Manager.
Module
As an Online Tutor, you will be required to provide academic support for the following module on the BSc Computer Science programme: Module Specification Interaction Design As a brief overview, this module will provide students with the knowledge and methods from the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) about how to better design computer systems for use by humans by providing theory and techniques which will help students to design more usable computer systems.

£1,451.89.00 flat fee per study session Assessment marking is paid separately at £24.53 per coursework assignment and £13.58 per exam script marked.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
You will be a motivated individual who enjoys working with students and who is driven to support students to achieve success in their studies. You will have experience working in a Higher Education Institution and have a computer science or related qualification at Postgraduate level.
