About the Role

Ariat is seeking a Sr. Manager, E-Commerce Planning to join our Planning team. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and inventory strategy that supports the digital business. We are looking for a talented individual who has a strong ability to forecast customer demand, plan inventory flow, and ensure optimal product availability on This role desires someone with the sharp insights to align planning decisions with digital growth goals, seasonal product strategies, and real-time consumer demand signals.

Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Owning the seasonal and in-season demand forecasts for
  • Incorporating historical trends, traffic and conversion insights, marketing calendars, and promotions into forecast models
  • Driving forecast accuracy (MAPE, bias) and continuously improving performance through hindsight reviews and dynamic reforecasting

Inventory & Fulfillment Planning

  • Partnering with Supply Planning and DC Ops to ensure inventory flow supports digital sales goals and key drop dates
  • Managing inventory availability by style, color, and size to maximize conversion and minimize stockouts
  • Monitoring DC/ Contract inventory coverage, identifying constraints, and proactively resolving shortages or excesses
  • Optimizing digital product flow strategies (backorders, ship-from-store, etc.)

Omnichannel & Marketplace Support

  • Aligning inventory strategy across direct e-commerce and third-party digital partners (e.g., Amazon)
  • Coordinating with retail and supply teams to share inventory when needed and avoid duplication

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Leading cross-functional planning meetings focused on e-commerce readiness, digital launches, and fulfillment performance
  • Representing digital demand and inventory priorities in company-wide S&OP and IBP processes
  • Collaborating with Digital Merchandising, Marketing, IT, and Customer Service to ensure a seamless customer experience

Tools & Process Optimization

  • Overseeing the use of planning systems
  • Driving automation and analytics adoption for better real-time decision-making
  • Creating and refining KPIs dashboards and planning templates for the e-commerce planning team
  • Assisting with other responsibilities based on business needs

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management with at least 2 years in a digital commerce environment
  • Experience with planning and ERP tools (e.g., SAP IBP, NetSuite, Anaplan, Oracle, or similar)
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce business drivers (traffic, conversion, promo lift, digital drop execution)
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills

The salary range for this position is $155,000-165,000 per year.

The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
