What are the primary responsibilities in the IT Systems Administrator position?

As a Service Delivery Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting employees and users of our IT systems. This includes areas such as the system administrators, hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, documentation, and desktop and application support. As an administrator, you will assist teammates and users in resolving problems in person, over the phone, e-mail and chat. This position will also be responsible for supporting and maintaining conference rooms, and working with equipment and asset inventory. Other responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  • Acting as the initial point of contact to provide technical support identifying, investigating, and resolving end-user technical issues
  • Collaborating with other employees to research and resolve problems
  • Performing system and office deployments to include computers and peripheral devices
  • Providing and installing approved hardware and software
  • Supporting, managing, and maintaining the configuration and installation of end user workstations
  • Creating and updating issues, tickets, documentation, training, and knowledge base materials
  • Creating, reviewing, and delivering service delivery and operations reports
