Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in all phases of the software testing lifecycle, including requirements analysis, test planning, test case design, execution, defect reporting, and regression testing.
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans and test cases based on user stories, functional specifications, and technical designs.
- Execute manual and automated test scripts, analyze results, and report defects with clear and reproducible steps.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure timely defect resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and methodologies.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Perform focused testing on contact center applications and system integrations.
- Utilize and contribute to automation testing using tools such as Hammer (for IVR testing).
- Support quality assurance efforts for Genesys Cloud contact center solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on software testing experience in an Agile development environment.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience testing contact center or IVR systems.
- Hands-on exposure to automation tools related to contact center testing.
- Familiarity with Genesys Cloud environments.
