Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed.
• Manage the reservation system and maintain an organized waitlist.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
• Assist in coordinating the flow of guests to optimize seating arrangements.
• Provide information about menu items and restaurant specials as needed.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Uphold high standards of guest services, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 and up.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant setting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a busy environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
