Overview
Looking for a Superintendent/Project Manager to oversee a 50 unit apartment complex remodel in Orangevale. The scope of work consists of gutting interiors, installing new flooring, countertops, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, windows, minisplit AC units, doing exterior work such as siding, decking, painting, landscaping, etc.
This project is already 60% complete and we have existing labor on the job who is very familiar with the project. We are looking for new leadership to jump in immediately and help to get this project to the finish line in the next 3 months. Once this project concludes, there would be opportunity to be transferred to one of our other projects/upcoming projects in the area.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety protocols.
- Oversee daily construction site activities, supervising subcontractors and onsite personnel to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of project requirements.
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, performing construction estimating, and controlling expenses to meet financial targets.
- Enforce OSHA safety regulations and conduct regular safety audits; ensure all team members follow safety procedures diligently.
- Conduct quality control inspections; ensure work meets design specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain clear communication with ownership, stakeholders, and team members; provide regular updates on project status and potential issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising large-scale projects on-site.
- Extensive knowledge of construction site safety standards including OSHA regulations.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, construction estimating, and budgeting processes.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Hands-on experience in construction site activities; familiarity with equipment operation is a plus.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately; experience with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters is advantageous.

Pay: $80, $120,000.00 per year
