Electrical Apprentice

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and eager 2-4 year Apprentice Electrician to join our team.

The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical projects, including residential, and commercial installations. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn about electrical systems, safety protocols, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively under supervision.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools.
• Support the installation of low voltage systems as directed.
• Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in industrial and commercial electrical work.
• Help with framing carpentry tasks as needed for electrical installations.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience as an Electrical Apprentice
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical program in electrical training is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts and terminology.
• Familiarity with power tools and safety practices in construction environments.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics is preferred.
• Willingness to learn about NEC regulations and low voltage systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols on job sites.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on job site locations.
