Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our Operational Director and Partnership Coordinator in achieving our mission. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and programs. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills, a passion for nonprofit work, and a commitment to helping families and children succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Operational Director and Partnership Coordinator, including managing schedules, handling correspondence, and organizing meetings.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and record accurate and comprehensive meeting minutes.
  • Maintain office systems, including filing, record-keeping, and data entry to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating events, training sessions, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Respond to inquiries from the public, community partners, and stakeholders via phone, email, or in person.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as requested.
  • Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring the organization's needs are met efficiently.
  • Support fundraising and donor management efforts, including tracking contributions and preparing acknowledgments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the team's success.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with online collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Zoom).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Lincoln County and its community resources is a plus.

Working Conditions:
This position may require occasional evening or weekend hours for events or meetings. Reliable transportation is required for local travel.
