Key Responsibilities:
· Assist head chef in overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including planning, preparing and presenting meals
· Supervise and support kitchen staff to maintain high culinary and service standards
· Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper kitchen sanitation
· Assist in inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing food waste
· Assist in catering events and special functions as needed
What you Bring to the Table:
· Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Sous Chef or similar position
· Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and culinary terminology
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Strong leadership and team management abilities
· Knowledge of inventory control and food service management principle
· Ability to adapt to changing menus and prioritize tasks accordingly
· Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with kitchen staff, management, and customers
