Salary:

Part-Time: $18 per hour (18 hours/week)

Full-Time (Potential): $36 per hour, $1,440 per week, $74,872 per year (40 hours/week)

Overview:

A private individual in Racine, WI is seeking a dedicated and professional caregiver for one-on-one assistance with occasional balance and stability issues. This role requires a compassionate and responsible individual to provide both professional care and companionship, helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and engaging home environment.

Responsibilities:

Personal Support: Provide attentive, one-on-one support to assist with occasional balance and stability issues, ensuring safety during movement and activities.

Companionship & Engagement: Offer genuine companionship and participate in various leisure activities, including watching movies/TV shows, dining out at restaurants, and accompanying on trips to a casino.

Recreational Learning: Be willing to learn and engage in playing chess with the client as a shared activity.

Household Duties: Perform regular, light housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy and organized living space.

Errands: Conduct shopping duties and other necessary errands.

Transportation: Accompany the client to various outings and appointments.

Requirements:

Experience: Demonstrated sincere, professional caregiving abilities with relevant experience supporting individuals with occasional mobility challenges.

Reliability: Must have reliable transportation to and from the client's location and for errands/outings.

Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.

Interpersonal Skills: A patient, kind, and engaging personality with a professional demeanor.

Flexibility: Willingness to accommodate the transition from part-time to potential full-time hours.

• Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines to ensure safety and compliance
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces
