About
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the operation and maintenance of the Interstate-McBee eCommerce website and Interstate-McBee home page. There is a focus on the continuous enhancement of the websites via various coding languages where necessary and completing other web and technology-related tasks. A key responsibility of this role is increasing customer engagement and driving more sales through the site by making it a valuable, user-friendly platform for Interstate-McBee customers, as well as internal staff. This position reports to the Marketing Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee in the day-to-day management and maintenance of the eCommerce website, including product updates, page optimization, and ensuring accurate and consistent product data.
- Provide customer assistance and in-depth troubleshooting for website-related technical issues and coordinate with developers or third-party providers for advanced support.
- Plan and oversee the maintenance and development of the front-facing website, ensuring seamless user experiences and alignment with brand standards.
- Create and maintain processes that work toward more cohesive data and ensure data integrity across online platforms and internal systems.
- Identify opportunities for customer-related enhancements in eCommerce and web operations; train team members on their implementation and use.
- Monitor and analyze website performance, including metrics such as traffic, conversions, and user behavior, and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with marketing team members to ensure alignment of eCommerce initiatives with overall marketing strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements to website functionality, user experience, and digital workflows.
- Manage the uploading and organization of digital assets, including product images, descriptions, and technical documentation
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop training materials and provide onboarding for staff on website usage and updates.
- Conduct regular audits of eCommerce and front-facing websites to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with company standards.
- Support online advertising initiatives such as paid search campaigns and retargeting efforts to drive eCommerce traffic.
- Ensure consistency of branding and messaging across all digital platforms.
- Stay informed about eCommerce trends and emerging technologies to recommend potential updates or improvements.
Required Physical and Environmental Demands:
