Full time

Pay: $27 to $29 Depending on experience

Shift: 9:00am to 5:30pm

This is an entry level position, with potential for growth into a future Plant Supervisor for the right and dedicated individual.

Experience working in a skilled nursing facility a plus, but not required. Must have some knowledge or experience in at least one or more of the following disciplines: construction, plumbing, HVAC, grounds maintenance, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical.

Purpose of Your Job Position

The primary purpose of your job position is to maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by your supervisor, to assure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily maintenance operations across facilities, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.
  • Utilize software for work order management, inventory control, and maintenance scheduling.
  • Coordinate HVAC system maintenance, including high voltage and low voltage electrical components.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Lead projects related to facilities management, equipment upgrades, or process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards related to high voltage, low voltage, and electrical systems such as the Ohmmeter usage.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for reporting purposes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance or facilities management with supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical experience (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC systems, and schematics interpretation.
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, project management principles, and maintenance management practices.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and use diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a safety-first environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination.
  • Relevant certifications or training in electrical systems, industrial maintenance, or project management are preferred. This role is integral to maintaining operational excellence within our manufacturing environment through effective leadership in maintenance activities while ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times.

Experience

  • Maintenance / or skilled trade experience a plus.
  • Will provide on-the-job training to the right candidate.
