We are excited to welcome dedicated and enthusiastic Hosts to Claremont, the newest concept by Katz Bros LLC—the team behind Beveleys, Clifton Club, and Green Point Seafood and Oyster Bar. Claremont is an American Bar and Grill, initially offering dinner service, with plans to introduce brunch soon

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements. If you have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to outstanding customer service, we want to hear from you

Starting pay is based off Experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
• Manage the reservation system and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
• Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods and communicate wait times to guests.
• Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host station.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies as needed.
• Utilize Resy for managing reservations and guest interactions.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
• Familiarity with Resy, Toast or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong guest relations skills to foster positive interactions with patrons.

• Open availability is required – working Sundays and Mondays is mandatory
