Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Cook to oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain food quality standards, and support the kitchen team. The ideal candidate is a strong cook with leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering consistently excellent food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Lead and support kitchen staff during shifts
- Ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation practices
- Assist with menu execution, prep planning, and inventory control
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Train new kitchen staff as needed
- Communicate effectively with management and front-of-house staff
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook; leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays if required
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
