Material Handler II

Full time - 2nd shift - Hours will be Monday – Friday 6pm – 2:30am or until the job is done

Pay 19.98 hour .50 shift dif.

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Material Handler to join our dynamic team at APL Logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing materials within our warehouse environment in the United States. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our operations by ensuring the safe and effective handling of goods.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to handle materials.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers with precision.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as required while adhering to safety protocols.
• Ensure proper storage of materials within the warehouse to optimize space.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular audits.
• Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and cranes.
• Familiarity with RF scanning technology and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various material handling equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
