About
Seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our dynamic team in Miami, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are picked correctly and ready for packing and shipment. You will utilize RF scanners and other equipment to locate and pick items, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. A focus on accuracy, speed, and adherence to safety guidelines is essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order lists or RF scanner prompts.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain productivity standards while ensuring order quality.
- Operate order picking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Report any issues with inventory, equipment, or safety to supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment within our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail to minimize picking errors.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all logistics guidelines.
- Proficiency with RF scanners is preferred.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
