We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in New York City. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. This includes picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. You will work closely with the warehouse management system to ensure inventory accuracy and maintain high productivity standards. Your commitment to safety and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners and pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packing to ensure quality.
- Assemble appropriate shipping materials and package items securely for transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
