About
We are seeking dedicated and efficient Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications, carefully packing them into appropriate containers, and preparing them for shipment. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all company policies and safety regulations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into boxes or other shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety vests and gloves.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any order discrepancies or issues.
- Be prepared for moderate to heavy lifting throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order pick tickets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Comfortable with physical demands, including standing, walking, and frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic safety protocols within a logistics environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
