Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Baltimore, Maryland! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to support our warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This involves navigating the warehouse, using scanning equipment, and ensuring product integrity. Attention to detail and efficiency are key to success. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. A commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE is required. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Use RF scanners or other devices to track picked items.
- Inspect products for damage and ensure quality.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including some Lifting.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Physical capability for moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Must be able to wear required PPE comfortably.
