Job Summary:
Our Washington, D.C. operations are expanding, and we are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our team. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be crucial in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, verifying inventory records against physical stock, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with stock adjustments. You will play a vital role in our logistics operations by ensuring that our inventory data is precise and up-to-date. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail are essential. This role requires adherence to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, to ensure a safe working environment. While not primarily a heavy lifting role, tasks may involve moving items and moderate lifting. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
  • Verify inventory accuracy by comparing records with physical stock.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Document and report all inventory adjustments.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper inventory tracking.
  • Maintain organized inventory storage areas.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Assist in implementing inventory control procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse operations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills.
