Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure workplace.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Handle various tasks related to general warehouse operations.
- Demonstrate a commitment to physical work and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understand and follow instructions carefully.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operation.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse experience is a plus. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to work flexible hours if required. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and follow directions. Knowledge of basic warehouse procedures and equipment is beneficial. Familiarity with safety regulations and the proper use of PPE is expected. Understanding of logistics processes is helpful.
