We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in San Francisco, California. This leadership role is critical to the efficient and safe operation of our distribution center. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing staff, and ensuring productivity targets are met while upholding the highest standards of **safety**. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising, training, and motivating warehouse staff.
- Planning and coordinating daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensuring all **logistics** processes are carried out efficiently and accurately.
- Implementing and enforcing **safety** policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Monitoring staff performance and providing regular feedback.
- Conducting regular **safety** inspections and ensuring **PPE** compliance.
- Managing inventory levels and participating in cycle counts.
- Troubleshooting operational issues and implementing solutions.
- Authorizing **lifting** equipment usage and overseeing safe operation.
- Collaborating with other departments to optimize workflow.
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a strong understanding of warehouse management systems. A commitment to **safety**, **PPE** utilization, and efficient **logistics** practices is essential.
