About
Seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our team in San Jose, California. This role is vital for ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders within our fast-paced logistics center. You will be responsible for locating, picking, and preparing items for shipment, utilizing scanning technology and adhering to established procedures. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses the physical stamina required for warehouse work. A commitment to Safety and efficiency is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve and accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists and order details.
- Utilize RF scanners or other technology to track inventory movement and confirm picks.
- Inspect picked items for accuracy and quality.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity.
- Stage completed orders for quality assurance and shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is highly preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to perform moderate to heavy Lifting, up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems and scanning technology.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of Safety.
